From December 6, 2025, to January 11, 2026, the Orrido di Bellano hosted the fifth edition of “Orrido Magic Christmas Lights,” which this year captivated visitors with the theme “The Way of Water.” It was an extraordinary journey through water, earth, air, and fire, featuring luminous creatures and installations that transformed the gorge into a sensory experience capable of enchanting both adults and children.
Following the success of the 2024 edition, the 2025 event once again featured a special Christmas projection on the third floor of the “Ca’ del Diavol,” titled “Travel on Santa Claus’s Sleigh”—an immersive, 360° augmented-reality multimedia experience that allowed visitors to fully lose themselves in the Christmas spirit.
Access to the experience was provided via a single ticket, which included both a visit to the gorge—adorned in its magical Christmas attire—and entry to the “Travel on Santa Claus’s Sleigh” special projection.
The magic continued until March 20, 2026, with “Orrido Magic Lights – The Way of Water.” This initiative was included in the Cultural Olympiad program for Milano Cortina 2026, as part of a series of activities promoted by the “Ville e Musei del Lago di Como” (Villas and Museums of Lake Como) coordination group. These efforts aimed to foster Olympic values through culture, heritage, and sport, in anticipation of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, which Italy hosted from February 6 to 22 and March 6 to 15, 2026, respectively.
